Please read this if you are planning on taking the GED test.

Test Preparation (GED, ASVAB, & many others)

The Library has test preparation for exams such as the GED, SAT, CDL, CCRT, and ASVAB.

The General Education Development Exam (GED) gives students who do not have a diploma from an accredited high school the opportunity to earn a high school equivalency diploma. The Exam, made up of five parts, covers the following subjects: writing skills, social studies, science, literature and arts, and mathematics. More information about the GED can be read at the Technical College System of Georgia.

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a group of eight (8) subtests that measures the test taker’s aptitude for various careers in the military. Only four (4) of the eight subtests count toward your Armed Forces Qualifying Test (AFQT) score. The AFQT score decides whether or not you can enlist in the Armed Forces. More information is available from The ASVAB Program.
